Grand Opening of CLUB 3 on October 6, 2007
3 Smart Girlz, LLC is launching yet another cool endeavor: CLUB
3, a vibrant event destination, will deliver the best dance floor
in town and a fabulous indoor/outdoor setting overlooking Lake Ella.
CLUB 3 opens Saturday night, October 6th, featuring House of Blues
favorite Ruth King and the Ruth King Band who are zooming up from
Orlando especially for the opening.
In addition to cutting the ribbon on October 6th, 3 Smart Girlz,
LLC also plan to close CLUB 3 on the same night.
"There was only one way for us to celebrate our successful first
year," says Deb Rogers of 3 Smart Girlz. "We're sharing a fantastic
event with Tallahassee by way of a one-night club."
"Ruth King is a powerhouse," says Penny Alsop of 3 Smart Girlz,
LLC. "I knew her when she lived in Tallahassee and was a music major
at FSU, and I've followed her career throughout the years. She's
had a tremendous year as well, and has a terrific new CD coming
out soon, so I think it's outstanding that her band is making the
time to play with us here."
Penny, Deb and Lisette Levy lead the 3 Smart Girlz, LLC collective
of consultants providing consulting, training and idea incubation
services for both profit-based and non-profit groups in Tallahassee.
CLUB 3's one-night location will be at the American Legion Hall
at Lake Ella. 3 Smart Girlz, LLC has underwritten most of the costs,
so the cover charge is only $5 in advance and lucky number $7 at
the door. The American Legion Hall cash bar will be available through
the event, which begins at 9 pm.
Advance tickets will soon be available at www.3smartgirlz.com.
Reserved tables are available; if you are interested please contact

pleases us more than to be able to share this event with the community,"
says Lisette Levy.

What does it take to change the world? 3 Smart Girlz.
3 Smart Girlz, LLC is a consulting collective based on one simple
principle: everyone deserves a little help now and then. Penny Alsop,
Deb Rogers and Elisa Levy Tacher have set up office in the Progressive
Center to expand their visionary work of guiding and assisting organizations,
agencies and businesses achieve their goals for the benefit of all.
"The Progressive Center is a perfect fit for us. The excitement
of our work is the nexus of service agencies, governmental entities
and for-profit businesses. The new economy is fundamentally changing
the boundary lines of what was once three distinct ways of working,"
according to Deb.
3 Smart Girlz, LLC asserts that social service agencies, governmental
groups and profit businesses can all benefit from the experiences,
knowledge and power base of each other. "Many no-profit worked haven't
had a chance to learn project management skills, but they truly
have many business processes and project to juggle and improve,"
said Deb. "Businesses, on the other hand, may be adept at setting
a price point to turn a profit but are at a loss when needed to
connect with the community on meaningful level or creating a marketing
plan without a sufficient budget. Non-profits are experts at working
with sufficient budgets!"
No under-funded agency or lean- run business can maintain all of
the skills they need in-house. An agency may have a solid staff
but temporarily needs assistance with a higher-level project, such
as improving a hotline's functionality, crafting a Spanish-language
outreach plan or implementing a new service for an under-served
population. 3 Smart Girlz, LLC is a consulting collective with a
troupe of many experts to draw on as needed on a project-by-project
basis.
"Staff turnover and training are also specific problems which can
leave projects in jeopardy. We either can help an agency plan their
projects and acquire the needed training, or we can perform the
entire tasks for them," Penny added.
They also provide comprehensive
marketing services that are specifically crafted to bridge the worlds
of public and private enterprise. "Too often government and non-profit
organizations have had to rely on traditional ad agencies for public
awareness campaigns, when they really need social marketing guidance,"
said Deb. "Traditional marketing practice aren't an effective source
for compelling social change messages and materials. Businesses
benefit from meaningful marketing, too. It is an excellent brand
development strategy that builds community connections."
Technical
consulting is another one of 3 Smart Girlz' specialties. "Non-profits
and small businesses often don't have the technically advanced staff,
so we do everything from renovating web sites to serving as the
evaluator of technology project bids and contracts to make sure
that small agencies get what they pay for from systems designers
and computer services," Penny said.
3 Smart Girlz, LLC draws from a roster of other consultants with
specialized talents. "Project teams vary from client to client,"
said Elisa. "This way we are able to provide expertise to match
the need. Our mission is to do whatever it takes to make sure that
our clients are supported in their important work."
If you want to contact 3 Smart Girlz for assistance or to join their
team members, you can find them on the second floor of the Progressive
Center or contact them through their website www.3smartgirlz.com.
